The problem
Most of what people do in a browser is a chain of small steps: search, open, compare, fill in, confirm. Each step is easy. The chain is the tedious part.
What ARIA does
You tell ARIA what you want, by voice or by text, and it carries out the steps in the browser for you. It runs as a Chrome extension built on Manifest V3, so it works on the pages you already use.
How it works
ARIA runs LLM agent loops: it reads the page, decides the next step, and acts, until the task is done. For popular sites it uses fast heuristics. For any other page, an LLM reasons about what is on screen and decides what to do next.
Result
ARIA won the Samsung Web Agent Hackathon in 2025. I was the lead engineer, and the code is public on GitHub.
